2. Overview

Water Escape does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information such as your name, email address or phone number in order to play. The game can be played without registration.

The game displays advertisements through Google AdMob. To serve these ads, AdMob and its partners automatically collect certain limited information from your device, as described below. We do not collect or store this information ourselves; it is handled directly by Google.

3. What data is collected

• Advertising data (via Google AdMob): device advertising identifier, device type, operating system and general technical information, ad interaction data, and an approximate, non-precise location derived from your IP address. This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us.
• Local game data: your progress, settings, unlocked characters and preferences are stored locally on your device only. This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.

We do not knowingly collect names, email addresses, phone numbers or any other directly identifying personal information through the game.

4. Why data is processed and legal basis

• To display advertisements within the game and keep it free to play — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, where required, your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) obtained through Google's consent mechanism.
• To store your game progress and settings on your device — necessary to provide the game you requested (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning you.

5. Advertising and content rating

The game uses Google AdMob to show advertisements. We have configured the maximum ad content rating to "PG", meaning advertisements containing explicit, adult or otherwise mature content are not intended to be shown. Advertisements are optional and reward-based: you choose whether to watch an ad in exchange for in-game rewards such as an extra life or unlocking a character.

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. Advertising data is processed by:

• Google AdMob (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC), which provides the advertising services in the game. Google's handling of data is governed by its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. Information about how Google uses data from apps that use its services is available at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

7. International transfers

Google may process advertising data outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States. Where this happens, transfers are protected by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy decision, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

8. How long data is kept

• Advertising data: retained by Google according to its own policies; we do not store it ourselves.
• Local game data: kept on your device until you delete it, clear the app's data, or uninstall the game.

9. Children's privacy

Water Escape is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Advertisements are limited to a maximum content rating of "PG". If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

10. Your choices and rights

You can limit ad personalization through your device settings. On Android, you can reset your advertising identifier or opt out of personalized advertising in your device's Google settings under "Ads". You can also delete all local game data at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the game.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@wtdigital.studio. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the game or legal requirements. The current version, with its date, will always be published on this page.
